Holy Holiday Cards!!

That's right folks, it's THAT time of year again! I have gotten the coolest new designs for your holiday cards, I cannot wait for people to send them out and put all the other cards to shame!! (Is that not the holiday spirit??? :)) Of course before they can do that we need to shoot their photos!! SO, to make life easier for busy families (and ME!) I am setting up a day of Holiday Mini Sessions! They are going to be held at Richardson Park in Ridgefield, a great little spot that NO ONE ever goes to! It's small but full of great spaces and lush foliage and I can't wait to shoot there!

Our New Addition!

She's cute. She's spunky. She sleeps with all four legs up in the air!! She's Abigail! We just adopted this 4 month old little beauty this weekend, and already there are a ton of photos of her...go figure, right? Here are just a few! You let me know if you find a CUTER dog than her!!

New Addiction!!

My name is Rebecca Murphy, and I am an addict...to STORYBOARDS!!! I have always loved still images, the way they tell a story visually, and there is just NO better way to do that than with a storyboard. These guys come in 10x20 size and are mounted so they stand up by themselves. They are awesome!

I can't believe it! After some minor technical difficulties I was finally able to get my site live! I think it looks really great, but I am positive it will be continually tweaked and added to, since I am pretty incapable of ever just leaving something as it is! I AM in the business of babies...

...but this might not be what most have in mind!! These little ones have already grown up and flown away but I thought I would share. (Better late than never! Besides I discovered these shots while going through website prospects...as in, YES I AM STILL WORKING ON IT!!!)

I couldn't believe it when a family of house finches moved into the the hanging plant not even five feet away from my front door, but they were brave and stuck it out! (I have since moved the plant in an attempt to keep another momma from making the same mistake!!) Enjoy!

Whoa, how time flies! It's nuts to me that it is already halfway through July!! I don't know what happened! But I bet with one look at the sunrise below you can understand just why I have been unable to post... vacation without internet!! Oy! Keep your eyes peeled for the new FlyCatcher website debut, coming soon!!

Website!

I am so excited! I'm hard at work on a fabulous website and it should be finished in the next few days! It is going to be beautiful and I can't wait to show it off!

For those of you who expressed interest in having your own FlyCatcher photo session while you were voting for the Teacher Baby Photo Contest I am going to be sending out an email that will give you all the info you need so we can get started on setting up those sessions!

And just as an FYI, I will be out of town all next week, but should be able to check in with email from time to time, so if I am slow in responding that's why. I appreciate your patience!!

Number 3 takes it!! It was a tight race and I can tell that word of the contest spread far and wide! Thank you everyone who voted!! I truly appreciate all the great comments that came in with the emails, and I KNOW the moms and dads of these three kiddos would be thrilled to know how many people took the time to vote! These are three adorable kids and it was such a pleasure shooting them!
