What a Gal!

Don't you just love it when your friends surprise you? I haven't seen or talked to a lot of my friends from college; life just runs away with us and it's hard keeping up from far away. But just this morning I was so excited to see one of my best friends in school has started a BLOG! I knew she had a site showcasing her beautiful jewelry (heck I own some of her first/finest work, but who couldn't use MORE?), but now with a blog I will be even better able to keep up with what's going on in her life (so long as she posts more than I do of course!!)

I AM in the business of babies...

...but this might not be what most have in mind!! These little ones have already grown up and flown away but I thought I would share. (Better late than never! Besides I discovered these shots while going through website prospects...as in, YES I AM STILL WORKING ON IT!!!)

I couldn't believe it when a family of house finches moved into the the hanging plant not even five feet away from my front door, but they were brave and stuck it out! (I have since moved the plant in an attempt to keep another momma from making the same mistake!!) Enjoy!

Whoa, how time flies! It's nuts to me that it is already halfway through July!! I don't know what happened! But I bet with one look at the sunrise below you can understand just why I have been unable to post... vacation without internet!! Oy!
